TeamCoach: the training

Teams give strength and energy to their members. But we have left this potential untapped for too long. Learning teams, teams that keep on learning and adapting and improving, perform well and are better able to handle change and suffer less stress. We do not have the habit of helping teams become self-organizing and learning, though.

That is where the Team Coach comes in. With the Team Learning approach, the team coach will help teams to achieve their true value and strength, and become learning teams that can handle change. This is particularly relevant during change trajects such as a lean or agile transformation.

The TeamCoach training wants the participants to experience Team Learning as well as learning it. We practice our own beliefs: the participants become a team that grows, the teachers are also coaches, team members help each other during the training. If at all possible, it is best to have at least one other participant from the same organization, so that you can work as buddies afterwards.

That is why we organize the training as follows.

There are three modules, each taking two days, in an inspriring location, staying the night. Between the modules, we leave about a month, during which you can practice what you have learnt. You can also ask for help or advice from your coaches or team members. During the next training session, you can share your experiences with your class mates/team members.

The three modules are:

People: focusing on:  "Do not handle resistance, motivate" and "Personalities, communication and change"

Process: focusing on: "Step by step approach of coaching, motivating, and growing of your team" and "Incrementally evolve team dynamics"

Purpose: focusing on: "Collectively define a vision for your team or organization (why) and determine the right first step (and its why)" and "Happy, engaged people, teams, delivering what they believe in. Together."
